Scott Reading

Scott has been with Leggett & Platt for more than 20 years and now serves as VP of Sales for the Western Division of U.S. Spring. He is also responsible for Sales and Operations for three of Leggett’s operations in Mexico. Scott sings bass in a choir and plays the trumpet in a Dixieland band. He has eaten rat and scorpion in China, dog in Vietnam, Balut (partially developed cooked duck eggs) in the Philippines, escamoles (ant eggs) in Mexico, rattlesnake in Arizona, and a giant black fruit bat in Micronesia. He’s an avid mountain and road bike racer, and has completed an Iron Man and five marathons. After his wife and children, Scott’s favorite people in the world are his coworkers and customers that make his job a rich, rewarding experience.
