Good Drinks for a Great Night's Sleep

share

Despite what some may think, alcohol is a drink you should avoid at night. While it does make you relax, it also disrupts your normal sleep cycle and causes you to wake up at night. Instead, try one of the following drinks. The first is a cherry juice chaser because tart cherry juice includes an amino acid that helps the brain produce melatonin.

The next drink suggestion is chamomile tea because it doesn’t have caffeine that’ll keep you awake. The third is banana tea. Banana tea helps muscles and blood vessels relax, which helps you fall asleep faster. One other drink to try is warm milk. Milk is high in protein and when heated, raises internal body temperature to calm and relax us.
