Women: Better Sleep = More Sex


New research has been reported that if you’re not enjoying sex as much as you used to, sleep patterns could be to blame. Compared with women who get the recommended eight or so hours of sleep each night, those who reported sleeping less than what’s recommended are less likely to engage in sexual activity with their partners.

This new study was conducted by the Mayo Clinic, and also stated that lower levels of sexual satisfaction were reported among those who didn’t get around eight hours of sleep a night. The study recorded data from almost 100,000 post-menopausal women, ages 50 to 79. More than half reported being somewhat or very satisfied with their current sexual activity, and 52% reported having sexual activity with their partner within the last year.
