A Daily Guide to Better Sleep

If you had a guide that detailed what to do every minute of each day to get better sleep, would you follow it? If you answered yes, keep reading. If you answered no, you may want to rethink your answer.

The first thing you should do each day to achieve better sleep is to wake up at the same time, preferably around 8 am. After that, expose yourself to sunlight. Getting sunlight in the morning helps wake you up and gets your internal clock going. Once you get some sun, drink some coffee, eat a big lunch, take a nap, exercise, eat a small dinner, have a glass of wine, and take a shower. Do all this before 10 pm so you can power down your electronics and crawl into bed around 11 pm. For better sleep, doing these things throughout the day can help.
