The sleeping and meditation app Calm has added the soothing voice of Bob Ross to its repertoire to help people have better sleep. The late painter is well known by most as the big-haired guy that hosted “The Joy of Painting” on PBS from 1983 to 1994.
Ross’s voice will be used to tell sleep stories, which are crosses between books on tape and bedtime stories. These stories are designed to be interesting enough to engage your brain and distract it from yourself, yet not interesting enough to keep you awake. If you’re having issues with sleep and are a fan of Bob Ross, you may want to try downloading the Calm app.
