We’ve all been there. You didn’t sleep well the night before so a little cat nap is just what you need to continue on with your day. Well, that actually isn’t a bad idea.

Taking a small nap of 20 to 90 minutes before 4:00 pm can do a lot for you, including increasing your on-the-job alertness. It can also better your mood, boost your ability to learn something new, sharpen thinking, ramp up productivity, increase sex drive, and help you lose weight by altering metabolism and shifting chemicals that affect appetite. Cat naps can also reduce your risk of heart attack, stroke, irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure, and other cardiovascular problems.
