Better Sleep Council: Men Sleep Better Than Women


.A recent study by the Better Sleep Council, a consumer-education arm of the International Sleep Products Association, found that men outperform women when it comes to America’s bedtime performance.

The study’s participants were asked questions regarding their bedtime habits and received a ranking based on best practices such as turning off electronics, keeping a regular bedtime, etc. Americans earned an average grade of C- (70%), but men bested women with an average score of 72%.

The study also took into consideration each participant’s overall satisfaction with the quantity and quality of their sleep, such as feeling well-rested, happy with the amount of sleep they get, etc.
