One hour before bed, gradually start to wind down with preparation for tomorrow, cleaning up, and relaxing. Another hack for sleep is to make it regular. It is helpful if we go to bed and wake up at the same time each day. One other tip is to set a curfew for the kitchen. Late night snacks can be counterproductive when it comes to getting sleep, so try to stay out of the kitchen the later the night gets.
