The 3rd annual SleepTech Summit will take place Oct. 3, 2017, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA. This all-day event is being held in conjunction with the 11th annual Health 2.0 Conference.
The SleepTech Summit will include three panels, with experts in the sleep industry discussing a variety of topics. One topic of discussion will be “Lessons Learned from SleepTech Exits.” This topic will cover all activities that have happened in the past year within the SleepTech industry.
Another topic to be discussed will be “New Directions.” This subject will explore a variety of use cases for SleepTech, along with selling strategies for products across different platforms and supply chains.
The final discussion topic will be “No-Touch SleepTech.” Sleep industry leaders will speak on the changes they have witnessed throughout the industry’s past and what they expect to happen as SleepTech continues to evolve.
“Improving sleep with technology is an exciting prospect that is being made possible by many small companies developing and engineering new sensors and technologies to better understand sleep,” said David Cloud, CEO of the National Sleep Foundation. “This is an exciting time for the broader sleep industry and certainly the mattress industry as well.”
This year’s SleepTech Summit will also feature the inaugural SleepTech awards. Throughout the events of the day, pre-chosen semi-finalists will pitch their innovative sleep technology products to a live audience and panel of judges. At the end of the day, finalists will be selected and they will be given one more chance to pitch their product before a winner is chosen.
