How Your Daytime Habits are Affecting Your Sleep

You often hear about the things you need to do at night to prepare for a good night’s sleep: dim the lights, stay off your phone, etc. But how you spend your day could be having negative effects on your sleep as well. Things like hitting the snooze button and not getting enough sunlight can confuse your circadian rhythm and make falling asleep at night more difficult. Other daytime habits, like smartphone usage, drinking soda, and smoking cigarettes, take time off your sleep every night.
