“The Great American Sleep Deficit”

Ever find yourself cranky or short-tempered for no reason in the middle of the day? Do you ever feel like you’re constantly fighting the battle of 2 o’clock, 3 o’clock or even 4 o’clock fatigue?

This may come as a shock, but the reason you may feel like this is because you’re sleepy. In today’s society, we have made it more of a practice to make sure we stay awake, rather than making sure we are getting ample amounts of sleep. So who is to blame for this developed behavior—Smart phones? Tablets? Energy Drinks? The glorification of busy? Fear of missing out (FOMO)? Maybe all of the above, but the question now is “What do we do about it?”
